Burmese Nephrite Jade Jin Chan.

Jin Chan is a three legged frog, or “money toad”, and is a legendary animal of the Han people. It is a mythological creature that represents wealth, prosperity, and good fortune. Often featured in Feng Shui as a toad with a coin in its mouth, it is placed in homes or businesses to attract fortune and protect against bad luck.

Suggested places to places your Jin Chan: To attract wealth, place it in a prominent location, such as the living room or office, usually facing inward (never directly facing the door, which suggests money leaving) but near the front entrance or in the southeast corner, also known as the wealth corner.

DO NOT place your Jin Chan in the bathroom, bedroom, or kitchen as it is believed to drain prosperity in these locations.

To activate your Jin Chan, it is suggested you place it on a red piece of fabric or tie a red ribbon around it. It is often considered lucky to have them in groups of 3, 5 or 9.
